Upon founding Kyber Odyssey Saber Academy, Masters Asuan, Rai, and Dunimus have constructed a High Council.
The High Council's responsibilities vary from appointing designated Padawans to trials (shadowing their assigned superiors) to choosing which one of the the ascension trials if not all to be bestowed upon each member. They also vote on major decisions that are relative to the growth and success of the academy.

On occasions the academy might delegate members with specific tasks, and jobs or even bestow a specific title (managerial position) upon that individual. Every council member is a master, but not all masters can be a council member. Each council member bears a silver-colored saber during initiation, and knighting ceremonies, and they each have a specific location to stand during these ceremonies.
The Council seats 7 members, of which only 3 are currently filled until worthy individuals have ascended and are chosen to hold the remaining two positions.
